Before there was BLAMMERZ, I went by many different aliases.
When I first started making music, I went by Norwood Music, then that progressed to just using NORWOOD. During that time, I made Hip Hop and Lo-Fi beats as my main genres.
Soon, I progressed into making House music, then later on started making Dubstep.
During the pandemic in 2020, I changed my alias to KaBlamDayud (pronounced ka-blam-day-uhd) and I started streaming on Twitch. I figured that trying to make my love of video games into something special. Unfortunately, Twitch is a very saturated platform and filled with people who were very performative. Plus, with Kai Cenat turning streaming into a new type of reality TV, I didn’t see a point in being there anymore.
While I was there, a few regulars of mine began calling me BLAMMERZ as a nickname since they couldn’t pronounce my previous name. Over time, it actually stuck with me and I saw it as a way to rebrand myself for the new goals I had. So, I ran with it.
Now, as BLAMMERZ, I make EDM music while working hard on my sound so it can become unique. Along the way, I share what I learn on my YouTube channel for other music producers who used to be in my shoes years ago—when I didn’t know much about music production or sound design.
As I began growing this more, I started to see an even bigger picture for myself and for the brand. Now I want to make this into an all-in-one place for beginner to intermediate music producers looking to learn the skills that I’ve learned in a shorter span of time; all while being able to supply them with tools like sample packs, presets, and courses to help them reach a new level.
That led us to where we are now. A fully integrated hub for everything that I create—my own personal website!
And that’s the story of BLAMMERZ (so far).
